My name is Sam Martin. I created this blog to get some eyes on a project I've completed concerning the Book of Mormon.

The primary audience for this commentary on the Book of Mormon is for my Mormon Friends.

The goal is to give the reader a look at the Book of Mormon through a new set of lenses.

The Moroni 10 Challenge is for any one considering putting faith in the book of Mormon and in Joseph Smith. The Challenge is to read the entire book and when you're finished, you pray and ask God if it is truth.

The problem is that most people that take on this challenge fail from the start. Don't believe me? If you're LDS and you prayed that prayer, what percentage of your intent was to know if the Book of Mormon was true... and what percentage was it to know if it were false?

Most people that take on the Moroni Challenge fail in their sincerity and real intent! If you are sincere, you should be seeking to see if the Book of Mormon is false as much as you're seeking to know if it is true.

For my FIRST revealing of this project, I submit my introduction to what I am intending to show. I hope you enjoy it and I truly hope what I have spent hundreds of hours on will be a useful tool for you to read the book of Mormon (maybe for the first time) with sincerity and real intent.

  1. hi sam thanks for sharing this with us. i am interested in reading it as i have always wondered about the similarities in the orthodox christian doctrine of the internal testimony of the holy spirit and the mormons clasic response to epistemic doubts. it seems that although god deals with us subjectively he has also given us rational evidence that can be discussed. there is a nice balance. when will it be avaiable? there are lots of mormons down here in south america and im always running into them. maybe you should get grsky to translate it =)
